* Birth of a Farmers Market in Brookside, NJ - The heart of the Garden State
Where? Brookside, New Jersey at the Mendham Township Elementary School perched above the sparkling waters of Brookside Beach in the heart of Mendham Township. Click here for directions from the Brookside Post Office (07926).

When? Saturdays between 10:00AM and 3:00PM.

Featuring incredibly fresh and flavorful organic produce from the Totten Familiy Farm where the fields are furrowed by a horse drawn plough.  Pictures to follow.

This location is close to a beautiful stretch of Patriot's Path - a mountain biker's paradise. If you are so inclined you can mountain bike along the old Rock-A-Bye Baby railroad bed from here past Lewis Morris Park and continue on to Historic Speedwell (where the telelgraph and Morse Code were perfected) if you are able.

Directions from 07926 (Brookside Post Office): Face East Main Street from the steps of the Post Office and proceed to your right down WEST Main Street. The sun rises over East Main Street and sets over West Main Street providing an additional means of orientation. (West Main begins where you cross the iron bridge.)  Go two tenths of a mile. The Brookside Beach/Farmers Market driveway is on the left across from yellow house (between Summit Drive and Carroll Road) behind and uphill from Brookside Beach. Mountain bikers take note of Patriots Path as you enter driveway.

Brookside unicyclist Brian Cort marks the precise location in front of the Brookside Post Office where East Main Street transitions into West Main Street.

Follow the unicyclists path west on West Main two tenths of a mile to the Brookside Farmers Market.  If you forgot your unicycle, you can walk on Patriots Path - the trail head is at the Mendham Township Police Station on Cherry Lane near the intersection with East and West Main.
